On Tuesday 12/03/2024, the Quality Assurance Administration held an introductory meeting with male and female faculty members of the colleges to explain and discuss the mechanisms for measuring course learning outcomes on the electronic quality system. This meeting included an introduction to the philosophy of Onaizah Colleges approved for teaching and learning, its most prominent axes and elements, and its reflection in the updated course matrices, with a focus on the role of the course team in measuring learning outcomes and preparing their appropriate certificates. This meeting was presented by His Excellency the Director of the Quality Assurance Administration, Dr. Bandar Al-Humidi Al-Mutairi. During this meeting, an example of a course was presented on the system to clarify the method of measuring the outcomes, commenting on them, and submitting the required certificates in a manner consistent with the evaluation tools associated with each outcome and ensuring that there are no discrepancies and disparities in the measurement results between the various divisions and sections; which is reflected in measuring the results of learning outcomes at the program level. The meeting was attended by 110 male and female faculty members from the two colleges. His Excellency the Director of the Quality Assurance Administration also answered all inquiries and questions related to measuring the course learning outcomes and the specifications of their related certificates.
This meeting comes within a continuous and periodic series of workshops and meetings that aim to spread the culture of quality and accreditation among members of the colleges of both genders, in accordance with the operational plan of the Quality Assurance Department and in a manner that achieves the mission and strategic goals of the colleges.
