Periodic Meeting with Program Directors and Program Quality Committees During the Summer Semester (473)
On Thursday, July 2, 2026, the Quality Assurance Administration held its periodic meeting with Program Directors and Program Quality Committees for the Summer Semester (473). The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Quality Assurance Administration, Dr. Bandar Alhumaidi Almutairi, to review the summer action plan and discuss the latest developments regarding the programmatic accreditation of the second cohort of the six targeted academic programs.
The meeting emphasized the importance of completing all quality assurance and accreditation requirements while enhancing the preparation of program reports through the effective utilization of artificial intelligence technologies to support report development and analysis. The summer action plan was also reviewed, including initiatives to strengthen the quality of program inputs, complete supporting evidence and documentation, and document key performance indicators and operational plans.
The participants also discussed standardizing the methodology for preparing Self-Study Reports (SSRs) for academic programs, drawing on the distinguished practices implemented in the Psychology and Interior Design programs as benchmark models.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of accuracy and objectivity in report preparation to enhance the readiness of the targeted programs for external review and academic accreditation.
