The Quality Assurance Department in the colleges held courses on harmonizing the course outputs with the program outputs for the quality committees of the College of Humanities and Administrative Studies and the College of Engineering in order to raise awareness and qualify the members of the quality committees of the academic programs to reformulate the course outputs. The schedule is as follows:
- The College of Humanities and Administrative Studies, on Monday, corresponding to 11/07/2022, at 01:00 PM, in the Development Hall, in attendance for both male and female sections.
- The College of Engineering and Information Technology, on Tuesday, 11/08/2022, at 1:00 pm, in the Development Hall, in attendance for both male and female sections.
- Professors of general courses on Thursday corresponding to 11/09/2022 at 1:00 pm in the development hall, in attendance for both male and female sections.
Course Topics:
- Identify the best methods in formulating learning outcomes.
- How to formulate course learning outcomes based on the new quality system.
- Aligning the course learning outcomes with the program outcomes based on the new quality system.
Course Objectives:
- Defining quality units and quality committees with the best methods in formulating learning outcomes.
- Defining quality units and quality committees on how to formulate course learning outcomes based on the new quality system.
- Defining quality units and quality committees on how to align course learning outcomes with program outcomes on the new quality system.
Recommendations:
- The quality unit in the college should undertake the task of training members to formulate the course outputs and align them with the program outputs.
- Program managers should define and distribute tasks to the quality committees to follow up the performance indicators of the program and prepare reports related to the program.
- Directors of academic programs must review the academic course outcomes after they are formulated.
