An educational environment free from extremism and deviant ideology.
Mission
The Unit provides educational and awareness programs based on a moderate creed, promoting national belonging and rejecting extremism and radicalism within the university and the wider community.
Tasks
The Unit seeks to implement the ministerial objectives assigned to it, which are:
- Strengthening loyalty to religion, then to the leadership, and reinforcing national belonging and national unity.
- Promoting a culture of moderation, balance, tolerance, and coexistence.
- Preventing extremist ideology and addressing its effects.
- Monitoring violations and extremist intellectual and behavioral phenomena.
- Encouraging academic and research initiatives related to intellectual issues.
- Identifying and addressing negative phenomena that lead to imbalance and deviation from the framework of societal values.
