The idea of the Information Awareness Program

Library unit launches Information Awareness Program Information Literacy Program (ILP) The idea of the program is to help all college employees on how to obtain information sources of various types and forms from multiple places, and how to use these sources and the skills of dealing with them efficiently in light of the knowledge explosion revolution.

 

Activities and courses of the information awareness program targeted by the library unit

Organizing training courses that include the following:

  • Using the Saudi digital library.

  • Use of electronic databases.

  • Research skills and strategies.

  • Skills of using college libraries and traditional and electronic learning resources.

  • How to formulate reference citations in the electronic environment.

  • International publishing standards (ISI-SJR).
