Regulations Governing the Exemption of Students from Field Training at the College of Humanities and Administrative Studies
First: Basic Requirements (Employer and Job Role)
- Job Specialization: The nature of the student’s current employment must be identical to, or closely related to, the academic major pursued at the College (e.g., an accounting student working in an accounting or auditing department, or a management student working in human resources or any other executive management unit).
- Nature of Work: The job duties performed by the student must be practical in nature and cover the majority of the core learning outcomes stipulated in the Field Training Course Guide.
- Accredited Organization: The employer (government entity, institution, or company) must be officially licensed and possess a recognized legal status.
Second: Experience Duration Criteria
Years of professional experience are considered a fundamental criterion in assessing eligibility for exemption, as follows:

Third: Documentation and Assessment Requirements
- Official Application: Completion of the Field Training Exemption Application Form prepared by the College.
- Proof of Experience:
- An officially certified experience certificate issued by the employer, indicating the period of service (start and end dates).
- An employment contract specifying the job title.
- Job Description: Submission of a detailed and accurate description of the job duties performed/being performed by the student, duly approved and stamped by the Human Resources Department or the direct supervisor at the workplace.
- Personal Interview: The Field Training Committee may request a personal interview with the student to assess the depth of practical knowledge and the extent to which the experience covers the required learning outcomes and Provide a detailed presentation as requested by the department.
Notes:
- The application must be submitted no less than four months prior to the start of the academic semester.
- Applications supported by previous work experience that ended due to termination for misconduct or were associated with poor performance evaluations will not be considered.
