Student Responsibilities Toward the Academic Advisor
  • Students are responsible for meeting with their academic advisor during the add/drop period to receive guidance in preparing their schedules and selecting appropriate courses in line with the academic plan.
  • Students are expected to review the colleges’ handbook, become familiar with academic regulations, and understand all program requirements.
  • Adhering to the study plan established by the college is the most reliable way to ensure timely completion of all graduation requirements.
  • Students should consult their academic advisor and develop an alternative study plan if circumstances arise—such as withdrawal, course failure, or change of major—to ensure completion of all graduation requirements.
  • Students are expected to maintain regular communication with their academic advisor, particularly during registration periods.
  • Students should consult their academic advisor, as well as relevant policies and regulations, on all matters related to their academic journey, especially in cases such as registration, course addition, withdrawal from the colleges, and academic decision-making. The academic advisor will direct the student to the appropriate office when needed.
  • Students are expected to demonstrate a high level of academic awareness, enabling them to take responsibility and adhere to university norms and expectations.
