Implementation Steps
  • Identifying students who experiencing academic difficulties.
  • Summoning students for individual meetings.
  • Diagnosing the academic status and challenges of students experiencing academic difficulties.
  • Addressing each student’s academic issues on an individual basis.
  • Assigning each academic advisor to the Academic Support Program for Students Experiencing Academic Difficulties.
  • Defining criteria for the academic difficulty (low GPA, repeated absences, duration of study, frequent course withdrawal, in-class behavior, etc.).
  • Classifying cases of the academic difficulty (academic, psychological, social, financial, etc.).
  • Referring non-academic cases to the Solutions Center (psychological, social, financial, etc.).
  • Following up cases after referral from the Academic Advising Unit.
  • Closing cases upon completion of required interventions.
  • Submitting a comprehensive final report on academic difficulty outcomes at the college level.
