Academic advising is considered as one of the pillars of university education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It aims to guide students to obtain the best results, adapt to the university environment and seize the opportunities available to them by providing them with academic skills that raise the levels of their academic achievement. It gives the importance of academic advising in the college. The unit is specialized in academic support and guidance.

Mission:

• Develop the unit's operational plan in line with the college’s strategic plan and submitting it to the college dean for approval

• Organize and save documents by retrieving it in an easy way, which is beneficial to the unit.

• Spread awareness among students about the unit, its importance and benefits through its services such as meetings, newsletters and the college’s website.

• Introduce new students to the goals and mission of the college, its educational programs, scientific departments, fields of work of its graduates, and aspects of care and services it provides to its students.

• Distribute new students to academic supervisors and publish lists on bulletin boards and the college's website at the beginning of each academic year.

• Study the cases referred to it by the college administration, prepare reports on them, and submit them to the competent authorities in coordination with the College Solutions Center.

• Consider students' academic problems and seek to solve them with the Vice Dean and the Solutions Center.

• Consider students' complaints of an educational nature, find appropriate solutions, and refer them to the college if necessary.

• Consider students' complaints about courses, find solutions, and submit that to the college administration in coordination with the Solutions Center.
